Your unique mod on the 1st Gens

Yeah def. I'd try going straight to the battery with alligator clips for each wire switching positive and neg to rule that out first.

 

its been about 8 years since i put the radio in but im pretty sure i just wired the single wire that already ran to stock radio to the amplifier signal wire on the radio. i just turn the "amp" off and antenna goes down. like cynical said one wire to antenna is constant power and other is signal as far as i know

 

I domt think its special but its a camper shell the highest one I could buy for i can sit without hitting my head, have a bed, desk, chair, lights, toilet, grill, shower, its all under my bed cubbies and by my desk, ive slept in apartment parking lots to the middle of no where in moab, utah, i wanted the camper shell for that reason of sleeping in city and off road, I have a camera thats always on to see behind me which I really LOVE as I dont have a rear view mirror

Took me months to find this truck, my dream vehicle, single cab 4x4 automatic in white, wanted an automatic as I used to drive a manual for YEARS and said never again I just like to sit and relax, theyre pretty hard to come by ....personally I havent seen a single cab 4x4 auto in like forever in the streets

 

I've done this but not with the shifter. I added a coolant temp light, trans temp light, 4hi, 4low and a indicator for when the lightbar is on. @BartMaster1234 help me with that part of it. Made the gel color indicator for the slot. Just have to install it. Yes some creative wiring but it all ties into the 3 original cluster plugs.

It’s not much of a mod, but I thought it would be a good visual reminder to watch out for the big ass fan lurking beneath the shroud.

I know, I know, sorta not really. I was reaching around near that area one time while the engine was on and realized just how dangerous a stunt that was. So, yeah, I consider it a reminder to myself not to be an idiot.
