baking some good old fashioned home-style taillight! I have to put a rear red fog light on the truck for it to be legal on english roads, so i'm taking a page from thier book and turning the right reverse light into one by using red headlight paint on the inside of the lens (so it doesnt cloud over time like this stuff always seems to). in the next few weeks i'll black out my headlights in a similar way.

Bulb looks nice. Did you bake those potatoes instead of your taillight? Anyway, dumb question I guess, Why do they tell you, you have to have a red rear fog light? How does that work? Does it need to be on all the time?

Good call. You cant bake the rears anyway, they are plastic welded. The only way to open them is to Dremel out the channels, and reseal them with epoxy.

i realized this too late and warped the circle over the brake light so i'm going to need to get a new light. as far as the red fog light, it doesnt make any sense to me, but you have to have a red fog light in the back to warn other cars of you during fog, but i figure thats the point of tail lights... oh well

actually on base it isnt bad. it's about $3.0x a gallon. and if i have to buy gas off base and bring the reciept in they reimburse me. its pretty nerve racking to drive these narrow windy roads though. in the states it wouldn't bug me, but on the left side of the road it throws you off.
