Only the shafts have fittings, each u joint, same as all Toyotas, sometimes the slip yoke on the rear and front shaft, but you just look for it.

Some trucks like my trd sport 4x4 have 5, some without 4x4 have none and some newer 4x4 trucks have only 3.

I just found the massive u-joint post. I'm a relatively new member and didn't know it existed. Tried searching on my phone while greasing and i guess the search feature doesn't work too well if you're on a phone (or maybe I just suck on a phone). Anyway, thanks!

Yeah I was under the impression from reading here, the 2017 4x4 trucks still have zirks on the front drive shaft (2) and one at the transfer case??

So to the OP - you have a 2016 you "should" have 5 or possibly 3. There's one with a cover on it at the transfer case. 10mm long socket gets it off. I needed to use a needle adapter on my grease gun to lube it properly..I bet if you rolled the truck a tad it you'd be able to fit the standard grease adapter in there.

My truck was made 7/16. Basically the last day before they started making the 17s. Apparently I got the 17 shaft bc no zerks except on the front. Unfortunately they didn't accedintally give me the auto rear window too like I had hoped

Found two.. Both on the front drive shaft. I couldn't find nothing on the transfer case. If someone has some direction that would be wonderful.. I put a good five pumps in before I got the same colored grease as I bought to come out (in Germany you can buy colored grease so you can see the flush from year to year).

If you have one it should be at the front of the front drive shaft and a 2nd one at the back of the front drive shaft... then in the middle there's a little guard right close to the exhaust crossover pipe... the guard is held in place with 2 12mm bolts (maybe 10mm), the guard comes off and there's another zerk there. The guard looks to keep extra grease from flinging onto the exhaust pipe. Then if you have em 2 more at the front and rear of the rear drive shaft. Some trucks only have 3 some have none and some have all 5.

I got the front of the drive shaft and the one under the guard.. I didn't find one at the back of the front drive shaft.. I feel like I should have, as you said 3, 5, or none. I only found 2... so im about to go crawl back under there.

Ok.. i crawled back under.. I have one at the front of the drive shaft.. but the one at the back is also the one that is located behind the guard over the exhaust crossover. I dont see anything in between. Am I missing something?

I just looked the one under the cover is the rear one for the front drive shaft. The next one down the line should be at the rear of the transfer case... thats the front of the shaft with the carrier bearing....then there's a rear drive shaft attached to that at the carrier bearing and maybe 2 more zirks on the rear shaft maybe not.

This is a pic of the rear of my transfer case - see the u-joint there .. that's the middle or 3rd one.
