Hello names Ed New to the forms and i have been looking around for about a week on the forms and i am more confused now more then ever about what type of lift to get for my 2008 v6 4x4 taco it is a daily driver.
once and a wile i take it 4x4in i also tow a boat around from lake to lake in summer as well so i need some thing that will be good at towing as well i would like a 3inch lift as i do not have lots of money for the lift the dealer quoted me 1500 for the rev426 lift and i have some emails out to 3 custom places i will not be installing the kit as i do not have the tools needed or the time as i just bought a new home and have to fix that first :)

thank you for your help on this matter

    again thankyou

yeah for $1500 you can get the ultimate lift kit and install it yourself and still save about $200. dont go to the dealer they will just rip u off like crazy.

all right sounds easy is there any thing that i would need to worry about or need with the lift besides a wheel alignment

its pretty straight forward. If you go more than 3" you might want to looking into getting new UCA to get your alignment back in specs but at 3" you should be fine.
