Plastic dipped bumper, blue dash LEDs, tinted tail lights
Just looking for anything under $100 just to occupy some time working and improving my truck. I've already plastic dipped the bumper, converted dash lights to LEDs, tinted tail light, had window tint before the tickets, and color matched my grill emblem just looking for ideas and what others have done.image.jpg

    Another 2-tone truck! :headbang:
    Nice looking truck.
Another LED mod that I have done and like is LED strip in my glove box. That's cheap and actually functional also.

I did it for less than $10. Could not find the right sized deck plate locally so I made my own. Bought some sensor safe RTV silicone, a large mouthed, double walled, plastic coffee cup with a screw on lid and a round, mesh screen used for keeping debris out of a kitchen sink drain at a dollar store. Cup was about 5 1/2 inches across the top and tapered to about 3 inches at the bottom. Cut the bottom half off of the cup and discarded it, sanded any loose plastic from cutting off of the top part then made a hole in the airbox large enough to fit it the cut portion in. Then I sealed it airtight with the RTV, plugged the straw hole in the lid with a bolt and sprayed a little black paint on it to match the airbox. After it dried overnight, I installed it and it has worked great to bring back a little power/mileage I lost when I went up to 33" tires. I tape the screen over the opening to keep the airbox free of bugs, mice, leaves etc... I mostly leave it open but did screw the lid on once on a wet wheeling trip with no issues. This cheap trick has worked pretty good for me the last 2 years.

the deck plate is a waste of money when you can do it better for free cutting the fender 90 gives you all the same benefits as the deck plate without any of the drawbacks of cutting up your air filter box.

its 100% free and takes 5 minutes to do it and the result will be better gas mileage plus a "little" extra power (but don't expect it to be that noticable)

restore those headlights. I like the look of offroad lights on a truck so id slap a few of them on there. Maybe do the signal/fog light mod. Paint your interior.
