Can anyone confirm the TRD's have a 12 pin signal flasher? The only ones I've been able to find for LED lights are 8 pin. I pulled mine off and it is a 12 pin. Not sure if it is because it has the 110 Outlet in the bed or what.

    Thanks

I don't believe that the outlets make a difference......but if you have DTRL then you have a 12 pin flasher. The extra pins are for the DTRL. The non DTRL flasher has 8 pins. I couldn't find a led flasher either and used the resistors first. Just make sure you mount them to metal and not plastic or near wires they get hot and will melt them.

Can anybody tell me where this flasher is located? I heve looked under the dash by the steering column, and at the fuse boxes and cannot seem to find this flasher. I also want to change my DTRLs to LED, have the LEDS and an LED flasher, but cannot find it to change it.
    Thanks for any help!

It's behind the fuse panel under dash on drivers side

I want to put all LED's (except unless some can recommend very bright quality ones). Can some one recommend a replacement flasher (PN would be great). Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am about to spend $140 in bulbs from superbrightleds.com, am I getting raped? Please Help

VLEDS.com has the brightest LEDs around, and you certainly pay the price for the top notch product. The challenge with the front signal on a 2nd Gen Tacoma, is finding an LED bulb that is bright enough, but will still fit behind the lens. The LED cannot be much longer than the stock bulb.

There is no replacement flasher, you modify the stock unit by changing the two resistors in your unit.

If you have daytime running lights (DTRL), then you have a 12 pin flasher unit, and the answer is No. If you do not have DTRL, then you would have an 8 pin flasher unit, then maybe. The link does not give enough detail info to state if it will work on Toyota Tacoma.

So you just leave the plug unplugged when you replace it with the led relay? I did mine and it flashed normally but I had no front turns signals back only any ideas?

    Necro resurrection,
You are missing a junction connector that makes the tie to the signal relay. Since you originally have a 3 connector harness, you need to remove all and install the missing junction block connector.

You still need to add the junction block so that added LED relay flasher can send power to the front lights.
