First off hello my names Chris
I'm new to this forum but not to toyota's or really anything that moves. I'm a diesel mechanic and fabricator,welder..

I've decided to join this forum to ask for some input and pictures. I have no idea if this has been done already... Anyway here goes... I'm hopefully picking up a new 2014 toyota Tacoma tomorrow and as soon as I get it I'm taking it to the shop and taking the whole front suspension off of it and solid axle swapping it..
What I would like to know is if any one on here has a sas newer body style Tacoma and also if u could post pics up. I'm just interested to see how it will look and what it will take to do the swap thanks

    Chris

Yes I know people will have there own opinions on why or why I shouldn't do this to a new Tacoma....point is idc.. I want to and that's the whole reason I'm buying it... Thanks again

Curious question. Are you going for a basic leaf spring type setup, or will you be doing a 3 or 4 link system?

Oh, and I assume you realize that Toyota is going to drop you like a hot potato on your warranty. lol.
