Today I changed out my spark plugs. Replaced the stock NGK iridiums with some Bosch iridiums. Everything went smoothly. I would've posted a how to thread but i didnt have time for tutorials. I was in a rush. Next im going to by a sub from a bud of mine, reppace the tranny fluid, rear diff. fluid, flush the coolant system, and probaby replace my belt. A tip for spark plugs: use anti-sieze so they dont sieze up and put up a fight next time you want to get them out. Or worse: they might break. Its cheap as hell and a tube will last forever

Had a flowmaster super 40 (suggested by the shop) put on and am now running 2.5 in/3 out.

absolutely HATE it. the drone in the cab in unbearable I think it would be ok if you were doing only city driving but i do many long trips and highway driving and at 2500 RPM the thing is obnoxious. I gave the shop a call and they were kind enough to swap it out for a flowmaster 50. It goes on the truck on saturday so i don't know how it'll be but i feel like it can't be worse.

I loved the sound of the 40 on startup but just can't get used to it.

anyone have the 50 on theirs? thoughts?

Installed the curved 42" 4D bar on the roof basket, haven't finished wiring yet, plan on putting my old 30" 4D bar on the rear of the basket and then some ditch lights.

I,ve heard too many bad things about flowmasters on taco's. I have a JBA cat back system on mine and i Love it. Great sound, little if not no drone, deep sound, and looks sexy. i have a thread of my review of it that you can find on my profile. the cat back system was $268.59 for me on autoanything.com for my taco. No welding required. All you need is a 14mm socket wrench or a regular wrench. I highely recommend it. worth every penny

A local fabricator on Vancouver Island made them - he's only made two sets and is now charging about $800 CAN (painted) for them but it still beats shipping american companies up north.
