Depends on the dealer you go to, some continuously say "oh we're waiting for parts" while others just do it. They had my truck for a week to coat the frame and replace shitty three leaf pack with slightly less shitty four leaf pack. I will be updating to Dakar shortly

I don't know what is the 886 backup mod but I've put some 35watts light bulb in my backup. I am very satisfied with that but I am always looking for some kind of magic product that could light up my way like the sun when backing up lol

Thanks for the reference on the Amazon product! I will keep an eye on your futur pictures!

I have a base truck so I picked up an extra leaf with the new packs. Here's a couple of bad pics..
When I made the appointment, they told me they would inspect my truck to ensure I was eligible. If I was, they would then schedule an appointment for the install. When I showed up, they looked at the truck and asked if I had time to have the install done. They received 75 sets of leaf springs in the day before and were good to go.

Georgia. I just called the dealer and told them I wanted to have the recall taken care of. First time I've used the Dealer for anything and was happy how they handled everything. I thought it was going to be a 3-4 hour ordeal so was very happy to get out in just over 1.

I just noticed OP hasn't been seen in 2.5 years, but has started one of the biggest threads on here going strong for over 8 years. I wonder if he knows of his accomplishment.
