    This is a tough one to call. So much blood, sweat and tears in these builds.

    A few honerable mentions, just to add some notable builds to the usual suspects of this BOTY thread.

    @0uTkAsT - 3rd gen on a budget (and im not a fan of turd gens. But still, dude built a nice truck without a lot of cash. Hands down if there was an anal retentive award, it would go to him.

    @deeezy
    Not a DD, but definitely my favorite off the mainland build.

    @northwesttaco
    Brian's a great guy and this truck has come so far in a short time. Kinda hard to follow in @Mademan925 tracks tho.... But he tries. :)

    Hands down there is one guy that stands above when it comes to a build and thread that will keep you watching & reading. The time he puts in to share his ideas and work sets the standard for all builds IMHO.

    All of the trucks submitted so far are amazing. But this guy here OPs a thread that is the equivalent to a encyclopedia of Tacoma awesomeness.

    I'm not sure if this is a contest for build thread, of the year or build of the year???

    Whatever it is, I'm voting for mine.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-getaway-croms-build-and-adventures.362772/

    I've lost count over the years on how many builds I've read. Some are, eh, others excellent and everything in between. What I can tell you is when it comes to build threads, mine is second to none. Numerous pictures of mods, thorough descriptions. Every mod is linked in the OP, all links work! No lost pictures from weak image hosting. Every picture is there, all the time. It's 163 pages long and less than 5% is B.S. I'm either working on the truck, or reporting on activities where truck is being used. And I've gone to great lengths to share my experience.

    As far as truck changes in 2016. The biggest-most-rewarding updates for me were sound-proofing the interior, the On-board-air system, rear bumper, 4-runner wheels, and alum tailgate skin, frame plating, leaf spring rebuild. And right now I'm balls deep in a front end rebuild. :)

    Thanks if you choose to vote for mine!!!

    My second favorite build, after mine is Ken's

    @Crom

    Most of my build was based on his ideas. What he has done to his truck have always been well thought out, practical mods and repairs.
    He not only shows WHAT he has done, he provides the reasons WHY he did it and shows WHEN he did it with step- by- step, highly detailed instructions. AND then we get a bonus pictorial of the mod/repair being used/abused in the real world.

    It is build thread of the year, but most will base their vote on pure coolness or badassery. Hence all the votes for @Mademan925 and myself. Good on ya voting for yourself, you're gonna need it.
