Planning on spending all day Saturday in the garage installing my lift. :headbang::militarypress::woot::yay:

Can anyone point me to where I can find the proper torque specs for the various bolts?

I'm guessing they are listed in one of the maintenace manuals but I dont really want to drop the money on one.

Replacing UCAs, springs, and adding a rear AAL. So that would be the UCA bolt, top hat bolts (if that's what they are called), shock mount to the LCA, rear shock mounts, rear center pins, rear Ubolts, and rear shackle bolts... I think that's about it

    Please don't roast me...

    Edit:

Ubolts and rear shocks are 75.
    Center pins don't matter.

I have a solution. Check out the thread below for some pictures. The bracket I sell will place the plate right below your tow bar, allowing complete function of the bar. You do not need to drill anything, it uses existing bumper cover bolts and installs in about 5 minutes.

Here is my routine. I leave the truck running, just so I know if I am affecting the operation of the vehicle and also because the engine heat helps to dry everything out. I used DILUTED Simple Green and liberally coat the engine and engine bay. I give that 5 minutes or so to work, then I use a soft bristle brush to gently clean all the nooks and crannies. Then I rinse with water and look to see if there are any places that need a bit more attention or a second round of cleaning. Then I get the 303 Protectant out and liberally coat the engine and engine bay. I use some microfiber towels to mop up any excess puddles and to touch up any spots that need a bit more shine. Start to finish, not counting the time to get all the supplies together should be about 15 minutes and the results should look like it did when it was brand new.

Go for it Chad. If you are apprehensive then go at it slow. I see videos of these trucks submerged over their hoods in water and the engine still working so the little water you will be applying should not phase it a bit.

That looks great, but still not what I need. I am looking for a quick release/removal of a plate ( for winch, etc) I found CURT hitch license plate holder on Amazon, will see how it goes.

My mistake, I didn't realize you were adding a winch to your set-up.

After almost 28 years, I've pretty much healed up. She keeps them in a silk bag and lets me fondle them once in awhile.

Haven't read all the way through yet but I've used a cold chisel at the base of a filter to tap one off. You need to be VERY careful you only get a bite on the filter, but this has worked several times for me, mostly on old tractors and work trucks.
