Installed an Icon Stage 3 kit in late March. Haven't had any issues until a couple of weeks ago when my front end started making a slight grinding feeling/vibration when turning the steering wheel and there is also a noise (not able to capture on video) when moving at slow parking lot speeds. It is not noticeable at highway speeds. The first video is of the sound it's making when the engine isn't running and trying to turn the wheel. The other is with it running. I know power steering etc. aren't working when it's off but I still compared to my dads 2017 Tacoma and his makes no noise to speak of even with engine of.

I've checked and everything appears tightened to spec. What is odd is when the noise first appeared it disappeared a couple of days later. When it started being noticeable again I scheduled an appointment for the following morning for the dealership to take a look at it. The next day the noise was gone and they said they were unable to replicate it. Hopefully I can get to the root cause as it is annoying.

Iv'e got the same kit with tubular UCA's. I have noticed this as well and think its the uni balls making the noise, trying cleaning then out and putting some dry tri-flow lube in them. This helps for a short period of time put then will start again for me. Icon just released a replacement for a more daily driver solution called the Delta Joint, check there website, that i have been looking into. Eliminates the current uni-ball, and makes it a grease-able enclosed joint.

My uniballs were making a similar creak. Hit them with Tri-flow.. no more noise

Thanks for the responses guys, going out of town for the weekend tomorrow (taking the wifes vehicle) so not in a hurry on it so I just ordered from dry tri-flow as suggested! Will update once I try that. That would explain the creaking/grinding feel from turning the wheels, but did you guys also experience some resonance at low speeds when your issues were present?

Resonance at what speeds, 30-40 MPH? Could be the needle bearing issue that I'm sure you've read about on here.

No, parking lot speeds - in fact I can't feel it at all when over about 10-15 MPH, most noticeable when initially going into reverse or pulling off from a dead stop.
