Unfortunately he will get close to that ,when my 1st gen was totaled and I was looking for a replacement I couldn't find a decent one for under 12g which I couldn't justify spending that much for another when I bought my 01 in 04 I paid 16g that's why I have a 3rd gen t4r now. Also I had 255 thousand miles on it and insurance gave me 12 grand

That's crazy. I understand the demand, but I paid less than that for my '06 with 78k.

Do you have the filling issues that I've heard about? Pump clicking off way early and it burping out fuel when it's near full.

stick a jack under the truck and see how much you can lift the truck before the tires start to come off the ground.

The demello should come with all the hardware needed. The only oem hardware you re-use is the six nuts that originally held the aluminum crush bar

Ok you will need a few grade 8 bolts, washers, and lock nuts to hold the side braces. @Me. Projekt , @buyobuyo , @Lots2Learn58 and I just swapped a couple of demellos around. I don't know what size the bolts are, but maybe Caleb or Jeremy can check theirs. I no longer has mine :(
I bought the larger braces from Jerry at BAMF. The braces tie further back into the frame, which supposedly gives it more strength. I just know I wasn't impressed by the little brackets supplied with the demello, so I went for those. They were fairly cheap and very beefy.

I looked at their site and couldn't find the bumper braces anywhere. I remember back in the day, we had discussed through PMs here on the forum. He had made one for a few others at teh time I think, and I sent him a message to see if he could make them for me. He sent me an invoice and I paid, not long after, they were at my door. Bare metal, I just primered and painted with spray bedliner I think. I never needed to touch them up in all the years they were on the truck.
Edit: i think they were 1/4" steel. They are beefy.
