Any recommendations for a shock rebuilder? I want to have some old rusty swayaways basically restored, new uniballs, cleaned up, and rebuild.

Tried DSM, he seemed skeptical since afe bought swayaway. Kevin at dialed isn't hitting me back up. Any recommendations for someone preferably in orange county or surrounding areas?

Dialed seemed like the best bet because he's the only one that I've seen get shock coating done and make old swayaways look like new, but no luck.

And yes I know shock rebuilds are easy, before anyone decides to go the smartass route lol

You could call Ryan at AccuTune. Not sure he'll want to deal with a restoration, but he'll put a great tune in them

Forged Off-road and Rock & Road. Both in Sacramento (Loomis)

Forged sepecializes in Raptors/Fox/high speed stuff but can do anything

R&R knows a ton about Tacomas and specializes in the crawly stuff but can do anything

Thanks! A little too far though, rather not ship to sacramento if I can stay somewhat local. Main thing they need is to be cleaned up on the outside and rebuilt. Valving will be simple, as these are just stock replacement, nothing crazy.

If you are decent with some hand tools I would suggest doing it yourself. There are a lot of good videos and guides out there. You could try the refurb and get everything together. Worst case you send it to DSM or whoever if you can't get it figured out. Sway Away used to sell parts directly to the public or Camburg has a good supply of their stuff.

I think he is looking for someone to restore and rebuild them since they were pretty corroded.
