    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-toyota-tacoma-v6-ecu-tuning-alpha-release.495735/

It's a mad thread so hard to get all the details, but you can read the OP that's been updated periodically as well as the last 20 pages or so and you'll get an idea of where it's at. I've been running since Alpha release back last summer - have not driven stock tune since. Would not still own the truck if not for the way he has fixed so much about throttle, timing/ignition, shifting amongst many many other things.

In all seriousness though - just go to those threads and filter for posts by the OP (OVTune) and you'll get the meaty stuff w/o all of our nonsense. ;)

Ah.. I was in the wrong thread. So confusing when there's 3 threads for one topic. I see it now. Thanks!

I just got my new 18 OFFRD DCLB last week... second most of everything so far. plastic color mud guards, and have done a lot of the small mods already as well..

I went with Husky Weather Beaters..

I ordered the Pro Grill from China after watching Hodakaguy's Overland Tacoma Build for 135 bucks on Ebay.. and it came in 3 days from China.. is that some insane timing or what?

All, I noticed that there are some suggestions to upgrade the headlights to LED. However, I want to make it know that there are trade-offs. I once considered changing to LED bulbs, but after reading many people's experiences I decided it wasn't for me. One of the big problems I saw online was that the LED fixtures do not generate heat out the front, so in cold temperatures where ice or snow is present, it does not melt it and will continue to build up. Another thing I found from people's reviews is the tremendous brightness of close objects but typically poor performance in long distance lighting when compared to the traditional bulb (or even HID bulbs). Just some things to keep in mind. However, welcome to the forum and get ready to spend some money.

I thought this was informative because it addressed LED in projector headlights issues, shows beam patterns with good results, and after reading reviews the GTR’s can be installed by removing 2 screws and leaning the headlight unit forward without removing the bumper as stated. I just pulled the trigger on them. 2 days ago I got my 2018 DCSB premium package after trading in my 2013 Accord Touring edition that had LED and wow I immediately noticed how poor the stock Tacoma ones are after 4years of driving with LED in my Honda. As far as ice...idk what that is. I live in CA.
