Can anyone explain like I'm 5 (ELI5) what the different driving modes are in the latest gen Tacos?
I have everything from at 4WD selector to a VSC button which I can quick press or stop and long press which I guess does something else.
I would like to come up with a table or visual card I can put in my mirror that say:
If stuck in mud..... (ex. shift into 4wd Hi and press and hold VSC to turn off)
If wanting to do doughnuts... (ex. shift into 2wd and quick press VSC)

Honestly, I only have ECT and the Roof mounted Trac button so I don't press it unless I need something really unique. Otherwise I'm just alternating between 4 hi and 4 lo offroad.

That's basically what I've been sticking too, I don't have any of this fancy tech on my old school '01 Jeep XJ.
I just leave it in 2WD for doughnuts, 4WD Hi for dirt roads/ trails, and 4WD Lo for playing in the mud.

I just didn't want to anger the diff or something if I go barreling into my corn field in 2WD expecting to do a doughnut and my diff explodes. (sounds like I need 2WD with a long press-VSC off now)
