I dont think you will have troubles running it off of the 12v, these fridges dont pull a lot of amps. My dometic pull 7.5amps when running. None of the stock 12V outlets are on when the truck is off though, unless you wire it to be constant 12V. I did 1 trip like this and ended up cranking the truck every 3-4hrs through the night, not good for sleep. They are pretty good at holding temp but I had temp sensitive food in my fridge that I wanted to be sure didnt spoil.

You know that didn’t even occur to me. Maybe I’ll just run the ARB across the back seat and pop a hole in my fire wall and rig it right “for now” you are right I don’t want to have to worry about the fridge being on. Thank you!

(Anyone know of an easy mod to make the 12V outlet stay on all the time) just in case?

Just looked. The ARB site indicates that the 63qt fridge draws 0.7 - 2.3 Amps/ Hr

The clamps are adjustable due to the bolt hole to the T-Nut channel being slotted if that makes sense. I have mine positioned so once everything is tightened there is about a 1/4" gap between the top of the clamp and the bottom of the bracket on the GFC frame. Some gap is necessary since the clamping action is compressing the bulb seal. That said, from the top of the bedrail to the bottom of the clamp mine measures approximately 3.75 inches. If they were at the lowest position which would allow the supplied bolts to reach, it would increase the depth to just over 4 inches. Unless your drawers are going to be over 15" you will be fine.

@YOTA 4X4 I'm in a similar boat for the upcoming holiday weekend. I ran a dedicated 12V outlet w/ 12ga wire to the back seat for my fridge, but once it moves to the bed I'm sure there will still be uses for it.

Instead of going through a firewall grommet I found a floor plug behind the drivers seat and then routed the wire under the door sill panels. Easier area to access and less leak prone than the firewall grommets.

Great idea! I’ll look there and see what i can find. I just built a quick platform to level everything this morning and give me something to secure the fridge down too. I guess you’re right. It won’t hurt to have an outlet there too... you never know. Thanks a million!!!!

@Yota4x4 and @whitetaco16, thank you! Very helpful. Seeing the clamps in relation to the channels on the bed was the right reference. I'd like drawers a little deeper than the Decked system, I think, but it looks like there is plenty of room. Much appreciated.

Once you follow @catware's directions, you can tap the socket and run an outlet into the back of the center console. Likewise you can do an inverter on anytime mod as well.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to leave one cushion out with the top down and also run the fan? I am curious if this would be a good option for keeping good air flow and ventilation for my dog in the back while while im Running errands and whatnot.

True enough but the price on steel buildings has increased by 38% since January 1. Ask me how I know..........

I was at overland expo to check out the campers. They looked as good in real life as they do in the glamour shots. I know glamour shots can be deceiving sometimes. The quality is excellent.

The lighting package has a remote switch to turn them on/off. There is no fixed switch location, so its up to you to place it wherever, or keep it in your pocket. I didn't get to see the lights in action since it was super bright out.

A lil this a lil that.
How do you find out where you are in the building etc. I sent a check 4/4/18 and only got an email that says they received payment. The couple emails I've sent haven't been responded to? Didn't wanna bug but have vacation scheduled.

Look at post #2862, the third picture down is from the passenger side showing the lower light. The switch is a dimmer which is mounted on the driver side and if you look closely, you can see the round knob. You will also see some excess wire coiled and tied up in the corner. The switch itself is attached with stick tape. If you want it somewhere else, cut the wire tie and locate it where you want it as long as the wire harness reaches. There is 3-4 feet of extra wire.

The lights in the tent have the dimmer switch located at the lower/forward end of each fixture. There is a USB plug at each end of each fixture. The harness for all the lighting comes down in the front driver side corner. There is a master on/off switch which shuts power off to all the lights. This is good in case you forget the tent lights and have closed the tent.
