I wonder if I would benefit from a Duratrac or wait for a MT? I found a deal on some duratracs on FB not too far from me.

    Coming from a Toyo AT2 and 2wd.

Duratracs are awesome! I think with what you do the Duratrac would fit your needs just fine. They get plenty of traction offroad and I don't think you would notice much if any difference between them and a mud terrain. I have beaten the hell out of mine for around 10k or so miles with many trips offroad spinning them on sharpish rocks and such and they show little wear and only minor tread cuts due to digging them into rocks.

I'd get them and not look back! Most of the mud terrains aren't a whole lot more aggressive. Also the duratracs clear mud pretty well. It isn't until you get into tires like trepidors, irocs, pitbulls or the like that you get ultimate offroad capability. Until then it's all a compromise and most tire manufacturers are trying to maximize on-road performance and wear for an off-road tire. There are a few exceptions to this though.

Well even if I don’t like them she has them listed for $400. LT285s that look almost brand new.

Then I’d just sell my Toyos for $500!

Expensive is a relative word... if the boat is more expensive than the truck then the truck will look like minor expenses lol its just a point of view:rolleyes:

Updated my drawer/platform in preparation for my fridge. I also rebuilt my drawer out of 1/2” plywood instead of 2x12’s. The drawer is so much lighter, and I was able to fit most everything in the one drawer. Later in the week I’ll paint it and go through and decide what I really need to carry in the truck.

Poor mans table saw. It ended up being more trouble than it’s worth so I just free cut all cuts.

I assume they were E rated since they are LT tires.

Asked her if price was negotiable at all so we will see what she says.
