I have a pin sized hole in the plastic inner tire well. I assumed mine was coming from that. If the sun is shining perfectly, I can see light.

    2. a/c whistle

from what I remember off the top of my head.

Could this be the notorious door seal problem that 2nd Gen's had a TSB for? LOL

Toyota is well known for not fixing shit.

Update: Checked and my LCA has the plug fix installed already so its not that. Its also definitely not the AC. Additionally, since I started checking these forums I read about the vibration issue with the hood, went and looked and mine is fully disbonded. Already regretting getting this thing.

update for those interested: Went to dealership, dropped it off and told them the problem (as well as showed them the hood problem). Just got a call saying that they replaced the drivers side door seal and it fixed my issue, going to pick it up soon so hopefully it will be all good!

Originally when I dropped the truck off, I told them the hood vibrates and that there is clear disbonding of the hood from its support. When I came back, they had edited my quote to say I had claimed it was rattling (very different than vibrating...) and said they did not hear any rattling. They also claimed that the hoods condition was standard and consistent with all other trucks on the lot.

I clarified with them that I don't really care if every truck on the lot they sell has a disbonded hood issue, my problem is that MY truck has the issue. I had them bring out the head technician and agreed with me once he took a look at it, so now I am going back on monday to drop it off and have it sent to a body shop
