lol, I just made a thread like this about a week ago. Its such a pain sifting through the hundreds of search results for alignment.

But yeah, 0 toe, 0 camber, and about 2.5 caster.

I didn't know you could actually tell someone to set the alignment to something specific. I always thought the computer system would calculate what the best alignment is for your specific vehicle characteristics. Learned something today :)

The computer tries to go to these numbers but the technician has to be competent/patient enough to get it set just right. A lot of times they just get it "close enough" and call it good.

And most larger/chain type places will tell you "We can't take specific requests." They get it into the spec'd range and call it done.

If you adjust your alignment on the front end you should have the VSC recalibrated by the dealer.

-Stock tires "ideal" would be 2.1*Positive Caster
-33" tires "ideal" would be 2.4* Positive Caster
-35" tires "ideal" would be 3.0* Positive Caster

As far as the UCAs, are you asking what to preset the caster at?
LR uca is actually 2* positive caster over stock when you set the plate at 0* and 4* positive when set at 2*.
It seems most will set the plate at zero and get it to align.

I would try them at +2* first.
Setting them at +4* should get you there too; TC UCAs are +4* and people are hitting the numbers.

    Maybe.
If there is enough adjustment left in the factory alignment cams(located on the lower control arms) to get your desired caster; around +2.4*.
If not they will have to take it back apart and move the plate for additional caster. I don't know if the dealership would be willing to do this or not.

Thought the same thing, but after attempting to get my truck aligned at 2 independant shops, who ended up being too busy to get to it, I took it to Firestone and asked if they'd align it to my specs. They said sure, but since it's not in their listed spec window that they wouldn't guarantee it. I told them that my specs were in the window, just on the edges, but the guarantee didn't matter to me, set 'em as I ask.

My original settings were actually all green, and they normally would not go any further (a camber of .8 was in spec, luv it...). Re-iterated I wanted it set to my specs, and they did just that.

They set it right where I requested 0/0/2.1 (stock tires, .85 Billy lift, TSB springs) and it drives great. Much less "floaty". Still a bit figity, but much better then original or after the alignment that the dealer did after my TSB spring install.

Only complaint was that they disconnected my battery and cleared my radio, odo, etc. Ticked me off as I have never had the battery disconnected for an alignment. Makes no sense to me why that was done, but I didn't go back to question them on it.

here is my thread on all my problems. i have a 2010 i put a 3" spacer lift on mine and LR UCA's after five alignments they got it right (i had to show them how to adjust the UCA'S)

anyway, set the new uca's at 0 (which is actually +2) and set them all the way out. from there anyone with half a brain should be able to get you to what you want (which is 0 0 2.4+)

    what all the numbers mean
toe is easy if the tires are pointing towards the middle of the truck that is toe and that is bad zero degree's of toe means the tires are facing straight forward.

camber is the amount the tire leans in or out. camber has a lot to do with tire wear so proper camber is a must. camber is used for turning we are not in race cars so 0 (meaning the tire sets perfectly flat on the road and does not lean) is great if you corner fast a little .1 negative would be ok.

caster has to do with how the truck tracks down the road and also effects things like bump steer. it has nothing to do with tire wear.
you want your steering to lead the tire not be even or behind.
cars like bmw have a lot of caster because they are build for high speed so they need it (the faster you drive the better it will handle with higher caster) also the idea of the side being different has to do with the crown of the road. so if you set the left side at 2.4 and the right side at 2.7 on a flat road it will pull to the left (it will always pull to the side with the least caster) but for a lot most roads in America there is some crown so to compensate they alignment guys set them a little different. most of our roads slope to the right so with less caster on the right side the truck will counter act the crown of the road.

i will say i have had mine all acrossed the board but thanks to a couple member here i have mine at 0 0 and 2.4 on one side and 2.7 on the other and the truck drive like a dream!

    i hope this helps
