The tundra brake swap is not compatible with the second GEN. Only works on the first GEN

 

The power stop big brake kit is one option for 2nd gen. Pricey tho

 

Thanks homertaco. Digging through TW for some info can be intense and time consuming as you may know. I'm hoping that somebody in the North area may have figured something out already. Would you happen to know an offroad shop out my way?

If you have 17” wheels a less expensive option is to swap to 2010-2014 (don’t quote me on that) fore runner calipers and use the associated larger pads and rotors. Pretty much a direct swap other than changing the dust shields.

Depending on the weight your towing you'd probably be better off getting a trailer brake controller. The front brakes are already beefy w/ dual piston calipers. Converting the rears to disc wouldn't hurt. But again, depending on the weight you may just want a good severe duty pad w/ some e- coated rotors.

 

So how much pressure can these things handle?

 

Not sure about those jokers but the road shower uses a cap similar to a radiator that opens up once it hits a certain pressure

 

That is a great price. I think I built mine for about $140 worth of material.

Not sure Murph. But my homemade pressurized OBW just takes a quick zap with my OBA. I suspect 8-12 psi. Which gives it decent water spray. Any more PSI, the Scepter Water Can starts bloating at the sides.

 

Not sure what can you have but it’s probably less than you think psi wise lol. My scepter can looks like a balloon at 10 psi. But the pressure last long enough to get a full shower in.

 

It’s a Scepter MWC and you’re probably right. It really is a quick zap of compressed air and it looks like it’s gonna explode. The Jerry can mount keeps it from turning into shrapnel.

The black color absorbs a good amount of heat, but I usually add a pot of boiling water to get a really nice 5 gallon shower.

 

Same can I have, and yes the black does a really good job at warming the water
