this is the first time ever taking the tacoma wheeling my friend rob pushed me into going with him to tuttle creek out in Kansas it was a lot of fun but i scratched the bed that day and i had owned the truck for less then a month so i freaked out and decided to keep it on the pavement...(thankfully that went away)

    first wheeling.jpg

    wheels and tires.jpg
and thats the change to being more of a mall crawler to me i got rid of my aggressive coopers and went to bfg ko2s to limit rock chips and got some nice black fuel wheels because the factory silver i couldnt stand them at all ugliest wheel ive ever seen...

thankfully this stage only lasted 4 months then got tired of it...

well after a year being a mall crawler got boring to me so i decided it was time for an upgrade and get more into offroading/overlanding ive always loved camping and doing it with my truck sounded like a blast!
so i decided to keep the factory bumper and get the us-offroad slimline winch system and i loved it and still do!

    us offrao.jpg

    us off.jpg
pic of after getting it installed now it took me awhile to get a winch tbh it took about a year i want to say..

after that i didnt do anything for awhile but then i noticed something off with my ome lift that was on the truck the original owner installed it poorly and the top hat and spring where barely touching and it damaged the shock so it was time for something new! i decided to go with a kit from camburg after seeing the 3rd gen go through the mint 400!

i ended up ordering the bilstein 6112 kit with the uniball uppers so i could upgrade at a later date to ext travel

    suspension.jpg
sadly i got a knee injury at work and was stuck with little to no movement for months on end and couldnt install the lift so my dad and a good friend of ours helped me out and got it on the truck!

    suspenion 2.jpg
and finally getting it installed and say hi to stick man on the tire!

after getting the suspension done it was maybe a month or so later that i had my friend rob come out and help me with spark plugs and to just hang out that day was an awful day i didnt know that when he left from my house that night that it would be the last time seeing my buddy back then after that i stopped modifying the truck for awhile kinda stopped doing a lot i had people help me through that time and thats what this pic was kinda about was to thank everyone on my Instagram that helped me through those dark times and helped me to move on and do what me and him wanted to which was go wheeling and see the world

truck was coming along great and the local Toyota club started getting new life again so we decided to do a couple meetups then a wheeling trip which was my first true wheeling i will say was a ton of fun since then i have gone out with the Toyota guys and gals numerous times

    wheeling.jpg
not even a week or so later i went back out wheeling again with the toyota club but with a much larger group and meet the midwest krawlers awsome bunch of guys and gals who dont care what you drive as long as you wheel they like you so i joined up with them and have done tons with them as well over the year

this trip was a ton of fun but for some reason mother nature didnt like us the entire time we were down there we had crazy storms and on the way home drove through two towns with the tornado sirens going off and insane rain where we couldn't see going 20mph!
