    2016 Tacoma “Texas Edition”?
    Hey guys,

I’ve had my Tacoma for a few months now and I’m ready to start playing around with it more.

I know that lifting my 2WD isn’t really beneficial, considing I live in downtown Dallas, but I really want my truck to look.. well I guess Cooler. I like the look for Pre-runner-ish trucks, given I will probably never use it for that. I’d like to smooth out my ride a little bit, as well.

    My thoughts were:
-a 2 inch lift, probably Bilstein 5100(seems to be the trend here)
-1.5 Block to level out the back
    -wheel spacers(not sure the length)
    -Nitro Grapplers

    Any opinions here?
I just want my truck to look better, but don’t want to seem like I’m 4x4 poser.

(Also, I’m very new to the truck world, take it easy on me )

Personally, I'm going with a 3/2 spacer lift on my 2WD. I don't offroad but want a higher ride height.

But right now its brand new and Im not getting into all that.. I like the looks of taller trucks.. Plus Im 6ft 3 so the higher the better.

One of the best looking 2wd lift is spindle lift . Google it. You can even use your oem shocks in front. Gains you 4 inch lift if I’m not mistaken . Here https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/maxtrac-spindle-lift-for-2nd-gen-prerunners.203889/. If you use your oem front shocks, it rides like stock.

Only like 2-3inch plus whatever it takes to Level it.

Budget is to-be-determined. I like quality, I’m still not sure what what the price range is for what I’m looking for.

Any suggestions/links for what I need would
    Be greatly appreciated though

Leveling kits are normally spacers and blocks. They work. But no one except a few like them. Usually they are stepping stones to a actual lift. So moto is.... buy once, cry once... do it right the first time, and why do it twice.
Spindle lift replaces your current spindles with bigger, beefier spindles and pushes the front tires down to keep suspension geometry in stock angles.

It will be info overload. Once you figure out that there are many ways to lift the truck. Just slightly different ways pending on what's used.
    Fonts = 1 of these
Spacers, no compression of spring just fits on top.
Bilstein, compress spring from bottom perch
Everything else coil over, compress spring from top.
The rear = 1 of these
    Block
    Add a leaf
    New leaf pack.

The rest is left for serious trail rigs mostly.

That is a top plate spacer? It's not in-coil. ;)
