    Cool yeah they are 2.5's. They are still on their way here, but I can measure for you when they show up!

    I will figure it out from what they have at the junk yard anyway! At least I know that the shock won't be the limiting factor!

    Just skimmed through 27 pages. . . Want to keep it as low as possible. Would a 4” shackle be feasible? I’ve heard mention of boomerang shackle. Anyone actually do it with these springs? I’m learning with such limited travel with IFS rear flex is where it’s at. My goal is 1-2” lift and running 12-14” shock. Is this possible?

    It's possible. But you gotta remember the longer your shackle the more droop you will get. Also look at the way the OP set up his shackles going from a 5 to 7" shackle will net you negligible amount of lift. Spring choice comes into affect for your set up. Boomerang shackles may not work that well for what you are trying to achieve.

    All my parts are here except the 63s. Going to the scrap yard on Sunday!

    Have to design a bed cage as well for the 16s... They are huge!

    Got the 63s yesterday! I want to replace the bushings... I've heard rubber flexes better but only lasts a couple years, while poly doesn't flex as well but will last forever...

    Any suggestions?

    Because of the 63 springs that I got there isn't any poly bushings for them but I got some for the previous yrs that look like they'll work. The one think about poly is they'll work better in rotation just not articulation. If that makes sense. Because the pin and bushing aren't molded together there isn't any bind there. Plus I got the hyper flex from Energy Suspension which are supposed to be a little more flexible compared to the normal. I know some guys who have gotten better flex out of poly in their stock hangers with the AG HH and factory style springs, the rubber was keeping them from flexing all the way out.

    When are you installing???? Mine are going in this weekend, super stoked!!!

    Sweet, yeah that makes sense... I might just get the poly, but then just the bushings cost more than the springs!

    I don't know when I will have time to do the install to be honest. My wife and I only have the truck so it's tough to take off the road for a few days straight, and I have a bunch of projects I have to finish first for our business... I do want to get it done before the season is in full swing though.

    Stoked for you to get yours done though! Take lots of pictures!

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
    The little flex you lose from the poly is still way more flex then stock. 6 of the 8 swaps I’ve done have used energy suspension.
