So hopefully someone here has had this one done. I am about to purchase the Bilstein kit with Headstrong. It will come with OME coils and a ICON 3Leaf AAL plus the UCA. It suppose to give me a 2.75in in the front and 1.5 in the rear. What is the largest size tire can I get without rub on 17in rims? Thank you in advance for the feedback.

Where exactly will the rubbing be located and what will I need to cut?

Could be anywhere in the wheel wells depending on the lift size, wheel measurements, tire sizing etc. Every application is different. No two trucks are exactly alike.

Depends on tire/wheel/lift combination. Could be cab mount, could be control arms, could be plastic fender liner, could be fenders themselves, could be coil spring.

With aftermarket UCA, you probably wont have a problem with them rubbing the UCA, but depends on the UCA and the Wheel specs and the tire width.

For me, 255/85R16 Toyo MTs (33.5" new) tires on stock wheels with the OME Heavy lift (similar enough to the lift you are doing) and stock UCA produced very minor rubbing on the inner fender liner that took less than a minute to trim. Clears all other common rubbing points, even offroad.

Lift alone doesn't guarantee fitment. Depends on your wheel and tire combo, alignment etc etc.

I have 265/75/16 with method standards and I rub on my mud flaps under certain conditions

I know, I'm just letting OP know that just cause he has a lift doesn't mean he can fit a certain size tire. I don't care about my rub, I'll trip the mudflaps at some point, or just remove them.

Use the search bar bro. Always wanted to say that.

This is it in a nutshell lol. Also depends on your wheel offset and backspacing. I have a lift installed that supposedly would give me the same lift as the kit you are installing. I am running 285/70R17 on Method Grid wheels and i am rubbing on the plastic trim in the fender wells but I am pretty far from the cab mount. Won't know if I will need a CMC till i do more than just forest roads. There is some good info on here so by all means do a little searching and it will help you decide but chances are 285's and up you are going to rub.

I would stick with 255's. The extra weight of the lift and every other crap you put on the Taco just robs it of performance.

I did a 3 inch lift ....see my past posts for parts... no cutting. I did have to align and move the castor I think it was.

From what I've read on here those fit with no rub. I think alot don't go with that size because not many options? Not 100% sure.
