haven't bought yet, but def headed there.

my check from insurance comes next week so I'll fly out the following weekend. The dealership has 3 in the configuration/color I want so very little risk of them disappearing

Are you already going that direction, for free? Why bother going so far to get a truck? Is there significant savings of total cost vs travel costs and etc.?

I mean, it's your money, do as you please. Just don't spend more to get a certain color and strain yourself more than you already are without your truck.

    Short answer, yes.

    Long answer:

    - flights are cheap from Cincy to Dernver, round trip with flight and driving should be about $250
    - only <20 trucks in the country with the configuration I want (2019s, no 2018s I can find for sale)
    - 2020's too expensive and not available in config I want
    - dealer in Colorado offering best deal I can find
    - they happen to have the color I like, it's not about the color
    - other dealers have config but travel is more expensive and purchase price is more expensive
    - no trucks local enough that a dealer can do a swap

You check the links I posted? I've not compared any prices, so not sure how good/bad they are

I did, I'm just super picky about how i want the truck optioned. It's not stuff I can add on later. That's what the struggle is.

There are literally 19 trucks available in the US (that I can find) set up how I want. I was picky and waited the first time, I'm still as picky now but I can't really wait.

Buy a Yota crawler, solid trailer, and a reliable diesel truck to pull it. Problem solved.:spending::duh:

Totally agree, it's on my list, just got a few things in front. This charger and the raptor lights are the only items I have add-a-fused

It's crazy how this color can change. The phone camera makes it appear more aquamarine than it looks in person. In bright sunlight, it's a nice dusty, lighter blue, which I prefer to the voodoo BLUE which is just inescapable.

In overcast conditions it takes on a grey blue and has some deeper almost purple notes. I totally love it.

    On to other "mods."

I reinstalled the low beam projector bulbs I put in the last truck. These make a noticable difference. I can actually see the low beam cutoff when the high beams are on

GE Megalight +130 something or other

LED front turns, just because. They are brighter and have the crispy on/off that incandescents don't

    JDM ASTAR LED

Brighter reverse light. Hands down the best light upgrade I've made, and all of $6.00. Read up on the ultimate reverse light thread in the lighting area. Should be stickied.

Debadged the bedside, I didn't like the red graphic on the blue.

    Also painted the pinch seam.

Also axle chopped that exhaust. Really clean professional cut I made after a glass of Old Granddad 114pf.
