Man I keep seeing your truck on here and I gotta say I’m jealous. That’s a beauty right there. Is that the original paint? Very clean and simple build, but just right man. Everything complements each other and works together nicely. If I was you I’d pat yourself on the back. That is a nice truck you have a lot of reason to be proud of it. I wish I lived in a nice climate and could have a truck that clean.

Who makes this gauge? Does it just plug into obd and read from computer? I like it and wanna get one for my truck. I have an 08. Does it only work on the newer ones?

    Yes.

Ideally, you don't want to turn sharp while in 4WD, especially on hard (high grip) surfaces.

Thank you sir! I've been doing alot of maintenance since purchasing it 2 years ago and had alot of time to think about my mods. I am not quite done yet though.

The paint is original, I do buff/polish/wax it twice a year and keep to try and keep it in good shape.

Ive spent more time doing maintenance and ensuring the truck is in top mechanical shape. I've gotten to a point where the real fun stuff can start! I am quite proud to see how far it has come. It was a highly neglected vehicle.

It'll stay clean for a few days tops. In my line of work and my weekend hobbies, a clean truck is quite rare for me haha.

I was concerned as I was parked on snow covered ice. Barely made it to my car without falling. It only did it the one time, so I think I might have had a spot with a lot of sand or fresh salt.

Gurl you cleaned up on XMas day!

I went with TRD Pro for my new wheels, but also considered Method and SCS. Definitely show an after pic!

Yup I got pretty lucky. The wheels are for my birthday/Christmas presents since they are pretty pricey. I wish I would have gotten lighter wheels, the methods weight in at 29 lbs, and the tires are 54 pounds. It will add about 6ish pounds per wheel/tire combo. I have the trd pro wheels for my girlfriends 4runner in my room too. After pics wont happen for awhile, I have to powdercoat all of the bolts and buy two more wheels lol

I've tried the spray, but no result.
Finally I've released the belt (but no removed) , and tested the pulleys by hand, one by one,
and easily found the damaged pulley (it was the Belt Idler, passenger side).
    I always have 2 o 3 spare pulleys.
the bearings wear out very soon with all the dust here.
I took the opportunity to clean and re-paint the skid plate.

Beautiful truck. Definitively love the DC long bed, with its genuine front and bumper, all stripped down and simple.

Did you follow any sort of template or was it just a lot of trial and error?

the abs cuts ilke glass..ie score it deep with a sharp blade and snap it, to bend heat carefully and bend, hold the bend till it cools and it stays....i usually run it under water to cool it just to save time
