Today I followed the directions in this YouTube video to fix a crack in my windshield. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aAsUG-jbLlM

It did a pretty good job, not great mind you, but pretty good and hopefully prevent it from spreading across the windshield forcing me to replace it. The kit costs $13, and it’s a “one-and-done” kit, and the directions and video are easy to follow along.

You can play with the max and min values depending on what guage you use to show your readouts. Sometimes the needle is right in the middle of your value and it makes it hard to read.

go here, scroll down and watch the YouTube video of an install in a 4Runner...install in a Tacoma is nearly identical.

As for the switch...search and read all the threads on Console and dash removal. Easiest way is to take out radio, dash bezel around radio to get to the switch location...but to do that, you need to take out the driver door sill plate, kick panel, knee panel, dash around gauges then the radio bezel.

Removed my cut up tractor supply rubber mat, removed the fridge slide, and put my new oem mat in. Man this thing is nice. I can see why everyone loves them.
