I did the same thing incase I need to throw the spare on. What I really need is a spare rim to match the Level 8's I presently have.

hey man are you just looking for some brackets that will attach to the rails and also clear your raised platform?

If so i can shorten up my quickfist / universal mounts to fit there. Just need to draw them up and have my guy cut and bend them. Let me know what you think.... fwpfab.com

Probably should go ahead and make some anyway, just need to know how short they need to be. Looks like you got right at 6", but im curious if that length would also work with the OEM lowered bed rails, decked platforms, and bed slides. May need to go 5" tall just to be safe....

Thank you for the feedback. I didn't read far enough into it to catch the part where K0D is only available for 2 years. I had glanced at the old frame recall stuff and was aware of it when I bought my truck, and made the assumption that they just added more model years to the 12 year frame replacement. I am going to go ahead and get an appointment scheduled.

Wish me luck! I hate the stelership and if this goes over without some sort of tension it will be a miracle.:rofl::fistbump:

I hear you. The dealership that did mine made it pretty painless. No idea how effective any of this is, of course, but being in compliance with the program won't be a bad thing if sh*t gets real later on.

I hope that's the case. They just built a new stealership down the road from where I work. I've taken my co-worker down there a few times to get his free oil changes he got when he bought his Taco new. But I've never been in.

It's a wrap did it years ago. It sucked took me like 2hrs just to wrap one side. I did both driver and passenger side. I was gonna do all the pillars but took to much time. I'll get some better pics when I get out of work.

I was thinking it would be nice to have them go further up instead of down if that makes sense. I'm wanting to mount a hi lift jack but if I only have 5 inches I don't think it would fit unless I had more room. But then they would have to be notched to get around my canopy "hump"

Good luck man, let us know how it goes. I completely understand about the dealerships. The 3-4 I've dealt with in the past 2 years, have definitely created some tension.

Removed old black nerf bars and installed Aries side steps. I wanted a little contrast. Should look really good as soon as the Fifteen52 Turbomac gray wheels I have on order come in. Just a few pics in the garage.

Finished the DIY full flush for the transmission. It cost me the price of a new pan and 6 hours at the DIY shop here in Denver. Plus the new fluid. So more than $500 ouch.

But it runs and shifts like a dream now.
