Add me. Almost never put my seats down except to vacume and access the under seat storage and when I did I always pulled the headrests. o_O

Looks good! I did the same but with magnets that have a threaded post on them and some KC Hilites which are pretty dang bright:

I had the same system and I have totally removed it. On our 3rd Gens this does not work properly. Here are some threads to read. Rather long but it explains why this system will not last with your dual battery set up. Better to know now then down the road..................

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...hem-multiple-batteries-thread.295653/page-131

    -from the thread:

Have you read this thread - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-northstar-agm-battery-voltage-booster-upgrade.604478/

Not so much about the NorthStar battery, but about the preferred/required higher voltage requirement of an AGM battery.

With our "smart alternators", dual batteries will never both charge completely tied in parallel.

I don't want to rewrite that thread here, so I suggest you take a few minutes and peruse through it - there is some really good info there.

    This is the thread referenced:

I don't but could get some soon. I didn't tap into the cargo light though; I installed the lights off the battery with a relay and a switch in the cab like you would with rock lights. Then I used DSIM's Dome Rock module to make it so the relay is activated by the dome lights, but only when the doors are locked/unlocked or I approach the vehicle. I can also use the button in the cab to turn them on at will.

I bed lined my aluminum roof rack on my ARE DCU shell shell yesterday and reattached it today. I sanded the rack, three coats of Rust-Oleum self etching primer, two coats of Rust-Oleum bed liner, and one coat of Rust-Oleum semi gloss paint.

I haven't yet. It doesn't get all that bad, and i'll keep it powered off until i figure out a solution.

It's not that the system won't work, it's that our alternators will not fully charge an AGM battery so you have to periodically top it off, which is a pain in the ass.

I solved this problem by adding 200w of solar to the roof, and so far it's been working great. Any time my truck is not in the garage the batteries get topped off at 14.4 volts.

Did the same thing to my 2020 TRD with the exception of the "Alabama" sticker. Since I teach at Troy University I put one of their stickers (mandatory) along with my University of Arkansas sticker on the rear window.

I drive almost exclusively with the drivers side back seat down. A backpack or bag of Chinese Carry-Out fits securely in the cubby behind the seat and I still have a flat spot for all those Amazon Deliveries

Looks great! been wanting to do this for a while. Hows the black version holding up? I heard it's same as the lil more cost of the chrome finish version.
