So in August 2019 I purchased my 2002 Tacoma DBCB 4WD with 218k miles. I got it bone stock! The picture below shows exactly how I purchased it! I didn't really want a red tacoma, but I couldn't pass up the deal this guy gave me.

Man, you did one hell of a awesome job.

when you put the trail gear bumper on with the tab turn signals, did you put the LED flasher relay in to account for hyper flash?

I did not, I just let it blink super fast haha! But one time my blinkers just stopped working so I eventually changed it out (but that wasn't the issue lol)

What was your issue when your blinkers went out?

Wow. You’ve gotten a lot done in less than a year! Cool rig. Is this your daily ride?

ya I hear ya, I’ve gone back and forth with the idea of making my truck more rugged/excursion capable but I just don’t off road quite enough to drive around a Safari rig everyday lol so I’m kinda keeping it stock instead of bolting a buncha of Armor on it and weighing it down. While it looks cool, and I’d like having it, I just don’t see the everyday need for my uses at this juncture. I’ll live vicariously through builds like yours ! Hehe

So I’m military currently stationed in ND, so I don’t wheel much because there’s literally nothing near me. Closest trails are 4 hours away haha! Hopefully I’ll be in Colorado for my next duty station.

Well I’m in western North Carolina and there’s plenty of off-roading/trails to be had here and my 3 inch lift and 285s are plenty to get the job done. “Over landing” here is not really a thing I don’t think? I mean you can Kinda overland I guess but it’s not as vast the way it is out west. As much as I’d like to get into “overlanding” it’s kind of unaccessible. The occasional trail through the woods at Uwharrie is enough for me

The 3rd Gen stock wheels look good blacked out. I wasn't a fan of putting those on but blacked out really changes things up. Nice Build Thread, thx for posting.

I’m actually not that big of a fan of all black wheels. My wife talked me into it :D
