    Apologies for taking so long...

I couldn’t get an accurate weight on them but they felt lighter than the ones I got a couple of years ago.

    Just installed these. Not bad.
I'm curious to try those track pads. The best ones. I forget the name. Not Hawk, but better. Probably semi-metallic and costs more.
Oh well, too late. Already got the TRD ceramic. Maybe next time.

Seems to have less initial bite on ceramic but that's normal. It still feels like it stops better from higher speed on highway with less effort, just maybe not that way at low speed on street requiring more pedal pressure.
But that's not why I got it.
I got it to get rid of pulsation/warping that I kept getting on stock brakes, and so far, there is no pulsating.

I bet the StopTech is better because it's cryo, has more vanes to cool, and so on, regardless of weight. 320?mm might not even be that bad of a size, considering how many people run them under 16's.

I was going to get 4runner calipers to set up later on, with any required supporting mods such as Tundra master cylinder, and use this set to buy me time to assemble those parts. And then swap out or sell these.
But now, that might not happen.
Because the junkyard listing that originally quoted me $30/ea for 4runner calipers (good price) changed it to like $50-100 per caliper. No thanks.
I guess these will do for now.

I have the StopTech 340mm BBK with 6 piston ST60 calipers now. Looks awesome, stops nice, but don't think it was worth the $1600+ for my setup. However I have prioritized keeping my wheel and tire weight as low as possible, if running a heavier setup it may be more beneficial.

Just completed this upgrade over the weekend and so far I’m thoroughly impressed with the performance. Stop Tech cryo slotted rotors and TRD pads along with stainless hoses. Day and night difference, although I had 3 seized pistons on the drivers side caliper which could have been a lot of the issues as well. Would def recommend this for anyone looking for better braking.

@crashnburn80 do you know if these brake pads work on the 3rd gens?
Not sure if Toyota used the same brake components as the 2nd gen.

The TRD pads have been confirmed in this thread to fit 3rd Gen, someone here installed them on their 3rd Gen. Unsure why Toyota doesn't list them as compatible.

What do you guys think about the Powerstop kits? I wish I could go stop tech but I don't have the cash.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I am really trying to figure out which route to go. A few years ago I put in Powerstop Rotors with HAWK 5.0 pads and hate them. Nothing but brown dust everywhere and everyday. Is this the better option or are the EBC Brake kits better?

Just did this upgrade - rotors and pads.... also replaced both calipers under warranty...they both had seized pistons. Braking has a better feel. Very happy with the change.

Pins on the passenger side royally sucked to get out as the last place that did them bent them putting them in. Drivers side popped right out. Now it’s time for a brewski with my friend @crashngiggles

I didn't see anything about what calipers you bought. Did you put bigger calipers on or was everything stock size?

Rick what rotors and pads did you go with? About time for some new brakes on my truck. Trying to figure out what I need to buy.
