There are plenty of explanations for this on most all of the Meso threads

Don't even bother trying to get all of what you want in one purchase. Just grab what you can when you can. Eventually, you'll get it.
You could also try some of the distributors he has. I know Cali Raised has a few things and I think Running 4 Tacos does as well.

You could make them curb/turn lamps also...if you do use your signals.:ohsnap:

installing mine now. wondering, does the extra pigtail go in the mirror side or stay in the door?

Extra pigtail is for MESO V5 turn signals, so it needs to be in the mirror

Mine is in the mirror along side the one used for the puddle light, and they fit just fine. I did the recommended gusset clipping on the passenger mirror for adequate LED housing clearance.

It took me a few minutes to search around, but I didn't realize that one of those connections is for the puddle light, and the other is for the MESO signal lights. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...lecontents_4000x.progressive.png?v=1581440314

Also, these lights are sweet! I'm looking forward to doing rock lights with DSIM DomeRock module to work in conjunction with the puddle lights. Probably won't leave the rock lights on all the time, but it is nice getting to the truck and seeing what's on the ground or if I dropped anything. Ice too - really highlights those icy spots on the driveway or street.

I’ve had my puddle lights in over a year and working great, but just noticed an issue. I’ve searched the thread and not found something similar so looking for ideas on fix. The driver side is dim while the passenger is bright as normal. They come on/off as normal, but just the driver’s side is significantly dimmer. Not sure if related, but I’ve got the MESO map and dome LED’s and notice that they have a tendency to stay on after it rains or after I wash the truck. I can turn them off manually with the overhead switch, but leaving them on with doors means they won’t shut off.

Also, I bought the Puddle Switch Kit but decided to not install because I don’t have a blank space to add nor do I want to get a new cover to make one fit. It’s brand new and still in the bag. If you need one, first one to PM me your mailing address and I’ll send it your way. No charge, I’ll cover shipping - just pay it forward. Happy New Year!

Verify the tightness of the bolt securing the door switch, you could also run a very thin bead of silicone in a shape of an inverted U to seal water intrusion to the switch.

Had these installed a week and just noticed this today...

    driver side:

Passenger side is perfect. Haven’t been through a car wash. Just one mild hand cleaning and 2 days worth of rain showers. Anyone else have these problems? @MESO

    Edit: still works perfectly though!

One of mine did this a while back. @MESO replaced it quickly. But after I removed it, I noticed that you can unscrew the cover off of the light (It was tight, used pliars). Once you remove the cover and remove the water, you can seal it with silicone. I used black silicone and sealed all of them. Haven't had a problem since. And yes I go through the carwash at least once a week.

Thoughts on pre-emptively doing what you describe? I might try it out tonight.

Here's a link to my old post about it from August 2019
    MESO Puddle Light condensation

It was quick and easy. It's up to you. Mine are a year and a half old and I haven't had any more condensation.

Mine light up. I couldn’t tell ya if there’s condensation or not :). As long as they’re lightning up I will never have a reason to look at em.

did you add a relay for the rock lights. i know if you put the rock lights in for the 3rd brake light it suggests using a relay.

I did not. My suggestion was for @WaitingOnMyR1T. But if you duplicate the install a 5 pin relay would be needed.

I haven’t installed them. I have a SwitchPros that I was going to connect them too.
