Will do! Just a few things that need to get off of my plate first. Big one is a hot tub my wife has coming in 2ish weeks and I still have to build out the area for it

yeah lol, been almost 7k miles since I've moved to MD in January.

I change at 4k miles since I'm trying to build some consistent data from the oil analysis to compare to later if things go south. 03-05 4.0 4runners and tacomas are susceptible to HG leak, so signs of coolant are mostly what I'm looking for. Possibly extend intervals in the future, since oil still has life. Really just removing the small amounts of coolant that get in there. I want to figure out how many actual ounces of coolant it translates to, but last change had 26ppm sodium and 47ppm potassium.

What has people's experience been with gas mileage after tuning? Better, worse, same?

It's been about 33/66 improvement/same. I haven't heard anyone say it's gone down as a result of the tune.

Thanks for meeting me! I may need to pick your brain more on antennas.

Also, have you done CMC's on anyone else's truck?

OV tune was great, Id say people who would notice it the most are the people running a lot of weight and oversized tires. I did the 91 octane tune and 33" tires and it was a world of a difference. Much quicker throttle response, not as much gear searching pulling hills and better MPGs by about 5 miles per gallon. Now that my trucks back to stock it really flys with the tune and factory wheels lol

Sliders came in, 7 days and $450 about from low range which answered my calls and all dumb questions. If anyone’s in the market

Yeah it's frustrating that nothing is in stock. I ended up ordering dobinsons and they may not be ready to ship until mid April which sucks.

All of the sites that sell dobinsons seem to have an odd layout for piecing together kits. It was much easier to just add the individual items to a cart, than to use the "kit" with dropdown menus. I ordered from Apache Offroad but Exit Offroad is another good distributer for Dobinsons. Figure out what size lift, nitro vs ims vs mrr, try and piece something together that you think would work, then ask someone from whatever distributor to look over what you have and provide feedback.

CrikeyMike has a good explanation of all the options on his thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/dobinsons-16-taco-suspension.474308/

Looks like not a whole lot of rear shock options. Lots of 4runner guys looking for stock replacements will use 2nd and 3rd gen taco suspension, just have to replace rear lower shock bushings with difference size. Would be interesting if tacos could go the other way and use a 4runner rear shock with the tacoma lower bushing
