Anyone want the factory plastic bed side top covers? Don't need them, someone can use them? If you're going up to Ardbeg I can take em and give em to you.

Why did you replace LCA so early?

The LCAs were squeaking loudly after the Marlin frame gusset install. The seized lower shock bolt on the driver's side meant the LCA couldn't be pulled away from the frame for the full weld. I suspect the rubber bushings got cooked.

I saw the LCAs on ToyotaPartsDirect for 30% off MSRP, so that made the decision easier. Only drawback is they lack the plastic hole plugs (supposedly to prevent the LCAs from whistling like an ocarina at speed).

Pavel was spraying water on them after welding each section, too. Evidently that wasn't enough cooling. :notsure:

Here's the thread where I got my 4Runner brake upgrade info: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...unner-bbk-upgrade-for-2nd-gen-tacomas.504234/

Enter 2010 4Runner SR5 in the part selector menus on all the parts web sites to ensure you get the correct calipers with the smaller mounting holes. With the All-Pro spindle gussets, I had no interference with the dust shield.

StopTech quality is slipping! The rotors wouldn't seat properly on the hub register. Once I sanded away the E-coat on the center bore with a Dremel, they fit correctly.

There's 3 sitting at blackstock ford in bolton as well. Went and looked at one, felt like a childs toy. They had a single cab, 8ft bed f150 on the lot tho, loaded with options too(for a single cab, it still was farely basic). Had a locker and the 5.0. Super rare truck. Then they wanted 50k for it. Fuck off with that.
