I love it! That looks incredibly useful. What do you have connected to it?

Well apparently, my '20 with a long bed (ample room) does NOT have the larger, driver side cubby. Only the useless little one on the passenger side. :notsure:
    Has anyone made their own?:sawzall:

In 3rd grade, I purposely melted my box of crayons putting them next to a heater ... it was cool!

Currently have it hooked up to air compressor, bed lights, and scene lights.

Don't see why you couldn't add one if you really want one. I'd go with the aftermarket steel version if i were going through the bother.

Okay, did a quick search and I found a bunch of things that mount in the bed, not into the fender well similar to the little one on passenger side. I was thinking more of a flush mount type. Possibly when I get off the "don't buy truck shit" list, I may consider cutting into the side of the left rear fender part of the bed. I really like that as a location for air compressor. 20211008_123602.jpg

You'd have to get the oem box from somewhere. Buy new, used, or check the boneyards. Cut the rectangular hole in the bedside, drill some holes where the box frame screws go and use rivnuts for something to screw into.

There's an aftermarket steel box that's deeper than stock somewhere. I'll post if I find it.

I hadn't considered salvaging the cubby from an earlier year...excellent idea!

You need to buy more stuff to put in there. It’s not useless, it’s neglected.
