Read through the thread for your options. Pretty sure I was already clear that there weren’t tons of options, and fewer for 16”.

Stating zero options exist is false. Sorry that offends you.

Dude you came into a thread you aren't participating in just to say my statement is false. You didn't bother to look up a couple posts to see I was running 16's or get a context for what I was looking for, and still have yet to actually add any helpful information or examples.

    How is that tactful?

I actually did look through the last 10 pages/6 months of your post history and see it's almost all about bicycles. But yeah, jerk yourself off for contributing info about Tacoma trucks in general and this thread.

At least you sparked others to chime in with useful information you didn't have.

I’ve got aftermarket 16’s and I wish toyo would make the AT3 in 255/85r16. Right now I have M55 but the ride is a little stiff.

I was at the point where in was considering picking up some 17" wheels to get the wildpeak at3w in a skinny 33 but that wasn't in the cards this time around, and I'm uninterested in the coopers or toys which i think are the only at options in a 16

I could see that being the case with fluffy snow due to the wider tread pattern on the ST MAXX, I feel that the Falkens are better on packed snow

Look at this extensive list of 255/85r16's.... hahahaha... Nothing in the usual 'AT' flavour, but lots of hybrids. I'm sure there are tires missing in this list.

I totally forgot I had also run the old school Cooper ST's also! They were really light and worked well, almost too bad they're not available anymore

Those old STs were the jam. Had a set on an old Nissan hardbody. They out performed the ST Maxx in all aspects offroad: snow, mud, rock, etc. The ST Maxx did have better on road manners, but also has the super annoying constant pull to one side. The STs did get as load as an MT toward the end of their tread life.

So my experience with the ST MAXX was on 33's with my reg cab F150, no side pull issues at all, perfect driving tires. On my JK I had 35's, no side pull at all, sold the JK, mounted the 35's on the JKU and felt side pull, rotated a few times and it was still apparent. This tells me it is vehicle specific. I heard this same thing with the Toyo MT, ran them on my JK and Tacoma, any issues felt more notable on the Tacoma with side pull. Need to align for road crown perhaps, but that isn't exactly ideal since it seems not all roads are the same!

255/75-17 installed today. Pictures don’t do them justice. I wouldn’t want to go any skinnier but I love them so far. Nice hum on the highway but nothing obnoxious

I’m also planning to get SCS RAY10 16x8 -12mm offset. If I pair these up with 255/85/R16 tires... will they rub on stock height?(3rd gen SR5)

-12 will most likely rub on the plastics. Depending what tire you run, some run taller and some run shorter. You may or may not rub on the cab mount without caster corrections which will need trimming on the front fender and bumper edge. With a lift you might be OK until you hit a bump. Haha.

At -7mm with 255/75r16 Geolandar's I'm rubbing in these areas at times and just slightly in certain conditions on the cab mount. But i think the Geolandars run tall. I haven't modified fender liners yet and I haven't pushed caster forward to avoid cab mount because i'm trying to decide what I want to do.
