Brownies cooked in my Mobtown Baking pan! It was packed so thick that you can see the indentations from the transmission in the dried silty clay!

Try getting it as clean as this...

I'm turned off by that photo of the skid plate. Unless you wash it right away, that stuff is clinging like mud cement!

I just pull my truck onto ramps at the pressure washer car washes when caked in mud (which you are not supposed to spray off heavy mud at them by the way).
I go into the track guided spinning brush wash with a Prinsu, Lietner and swing arm bumper.
Little noisy but been doing it for years with no issue.
I will say though when the brush hits the MaxTrax mounted on the side of my Lietner I can feel the spinning brush attempting to pull the truck backwards, lol.
I have also never used a rubber in my life so my advice should probably be ignored....

Can’t you just flip the truck on its side, spray and wash it down and flip it back?

I leave my mud at the carwash that has power under spray, immediately after off roading. Dont want to give it time to Harden....

The funny thing is there a thin layer of clay fired onto my exhaust headers near the cats and it won’t wash off - even a wire brush wont do it because it got fired into a ceramic like coating to the hot metal. Makes the pipes look rusted.

I don’t generally…. I use fluid film or wool wax and let the dust and dirt mix up with it and it leaves a film of rustproofing goodness all over. I do check for caked on mud from time to time but I haven’t seen any so I just add a on another layer of ww or ff every early fall. I did get an under carriage attachment for my pressure washer but don’t really use it….

Use a cold chisel and a 3 lb Blacksmith hammer to strike that "ceramic". It will fracture and fall off. Water or high pressure spray won't touch it.

Just gotta suck it up and get under there with a pressure washer!

During the winter I'll use the self service bay at the car wash to do it. Throw on a pair of overalls and get to it! I then take it through the touchless.
