Looking to see how many would be interested to spend weekend wheeling at VMUTS in January/February? It's going to be full weekend kind of deal with hotel/camping.

Let me know who is interested. There is going to be fees at Rays place to enter I think last time it was $25 + cost of staying overnight, VMUTS you would need to purchase day/season pass.

I would love to join these but I worry that my truck won't be able to meet all the minimum requirements.
I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for which ones I can sign up for.

What I currently have on the truck is:
    -Rock sliders
    -Discoverer S/T Maxx
    -Two front shackles
    -Rear shackle
    -Two Traction Boards
    -Two tow straps
    -Air pump and deflater
    -Box of Tools
    -Tire repair kit

It was my understanding that Ray's place is winch required on each rig. :transformer: I maybe wrong on that o_O

    :fistbump:
For VMUTS though, you only need a winch for every other truck :cookiemonster:

We have 5 trucks and 2 winches, that is every other truck :bananadance: Just space em out correctly.

Id say I use a proper shovel on every single recovery.

    Proper Shovel

Do not be fooled into thinking some plastic, collapsible shovel is going to help. It will not. :hattip:

Pretty much all I’ll have - Except I’ll be on dedicated winter rubber (General Grabber Arctic LTs) as per some reviews [on TW and elsewhere] — https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/killer-snow-boots-for-3g-taco-general-grabber-arctic-lt.593034/

    Purchased.

Are these all limited to 5 trucks @Norilsk?

    :notsure:

I sharpen the edge of my garden shovel, for maxiumumumm effect of attack.

Ice is a hellofa thing when its all you see and your truck is stuck in/on it.

Will that shovel help you remove solid ice? You sir need to answer that question.
