Been tying to search for a thread but cannot find anything.

I want to turn the center console 12V plug to always on whether the truck is off, in accessory or running.

Is there an always hot 12V I can tap in the center console area? Has anyone done anything like that, specifically in the center console plug?

Cap the wires feeding it and run a separate ones straight from the battery...or just leave it alone and run a blue sea separately...straight from the battery

I would suggest adding constant power ports rather then converting the stock ones

something like this just needs a 12v power source
    https://us.amazon.com/Extractme-Con...69084&sprefix=12v+usb+converter,aps,88&sr=8-3

I had a similar one to run a dashcam and it worked great. I don’t think I would use it for a primary for fast charging or high draw, but for a constant low draw it worked great
