Update! Upholstered last night with some rubber backed patio carpet, changed up the hinges, completely perfect for a simple non-delete seat platform. Gets the job done and looks much better.

So we are 11 days from the start of the season and I got 9 flags lined up for a few lucky ones, let's see who is going to impress us this year :spy:
Doesn't need to be necessary a major Fvck up or break up, can be cleanup or something big that benefits the community. :hattip:

P.S. roll overs are banned this year :anonymous:

So my job location changed a few months ago and now I work in Brampton. I used to commute about 15km round trip now its close to 100km round trip. during my afternoons,( I work afternoons) I get to drive from Brampton to Aberfolye and it has me thinking about ditch lights. I use only the back roads to get there and you literally cant see left or right when making a turn. This is the company truck but for my truck any recommendations for the ditch lights and brackets? I know there must be a ton out there but as with all my stuff "cheep and functional" is my thing..Thanks for any suggestions..
also any drawbacks to having them and is there any other alternatives.. thanks

I had an Amazon special set on my Jeep. Worked well enough. Also, welcome to the 100km plus commute club. Right now for me it’s either 110km round trip if I’m staying with my parents, or 390km if I’m at my place.

I briefly (3 months) worked in Etobicoke with a 190km round trip commute, couldn’t stand pumping a full tank 3 times a week, or driving through Brampton twice daily. Found new work, only 40 kms round trip, and started car pooling a few months ago.

Rode the bike to work a day last week, the gusts of 70km/h cross breeze made things interesting haha

I don’t mind the driving (Peterborough- Bolton) but I couldn’t imagine paying for the gas myself. Company pays for that.

Not sure if 3rd gen brackets fit onto a 2nd gen but I also Amazoom Special brackets as well with AuxBeam Pod lights. (i personally have the Flood spot combo lights). I use them without issues but i have my gripes about the aux beam pods. and they do have a 50% change of water ingress.

@Ralf Has really nice aluminum ditch brackets that flip forward to give you a bit more room between the podlight and the hood as it is opened. My Pods almost touch my glass when the hood is propped up.

think it was @TacoPandaTRD mentioned Diode Dynamics are really good. For $50 more than the Auxbeam ones, my next set i'll take the Diode Dynamic ones.

Overall, cheap and functional you have 2nd gen Specific brackets for $35.
and i would get any cheap amazoom special pods that have a wiring harness included to make your life a little easier.

my 30" bar held up while i ran them but i ended up killing the amazoom pod lights after a year or so.

    exterior
was destroyed by the salty roads.
    IMG_20220301_192021576.jpg
Inside the pods themselves the connections were junk. and over the year of use 3 LEDs in one of the pods died.
