What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Guys, I just paid $ 35.83 for 5 Crush washers for the transmission oil change and the Tcase oil change. Are there better prices out there than this for Crush washers?

 

I did the same to tie my Paradox security system in the Chamberlain Liftmaster.

 

It comes with a rubber seal that’s supposed to rest on the paint

Where’d you get the gold ones?
I got prices from on-line Toyota dealer parts site and had local dealer match. Don’t recall them being $35. I’ll see if I can find which one.

• Back uses the small bolts, no spacers
• Middle uses the longest bolts and longest spacers
• Front uses the medium bolts and shorter spacers

For sure start on the front bolts first. Instructioins say to do rear next, but I found it impossible because the middle bolts and the length prevents you from doing the rears. So wing it after that and see what works. I had to go back an forth.

Also, before you do anything, thread each bolt into its slot to make sure it will thread. I had a hard time starting the threads. The factory bolts seem to be tapered and are easier to get going. The knock offs were not tapered.

 

Been thinking about getting these. What size/offset? Any pics of how far it sticks out from wheel well?

 

So I did a thing today! Picked up the whole RTT setup (Rtt, bed rack, hi lift, treads and a shovel) for $900.

 

***UPDATE: Did not solve the problem.

Updated the head unit. Hoping this fixes my Android Auto issue.. Which is continuous disconnecting and reconnecting, like every 5 minutes. Tried different cords, phones, and USB ports so it's been narrowed down to the headunit or current AA version. And I can't do anything about AA updates so this better work!

I’m having an issue where my truck is shuddering or slipping when speeding up between 1500-2500 RPM. Only at low speed acceleration. Truck has 65k miles. I just replaced my suspension, changed my oil and removed my sway bar this week. My truck is sagging in the rear until I replace my leaf pack and I have about 300 pounds in the bed but this just started happening right now when I went to get water for the house. Is there anything I could’ve messed up for this to happen? What should I be looking for?

 

Spark plugs and plug wires tight? Anything binding in the driveline? U joint's good?

 

Nope. Got to the bottom of it when I got home, lifted the truck up and took a peak underneath. I’ve changed the oil myself about 6 times now and today I must’ve been spaced out because my dumbass drained the transmission fluid not the oil. So guess who will be towing their truck to the dealership tomorrow REALLY REALLY upset right now. At 65k I guess it was about time anyway? Not the way I planned it.

 

Finally got my V5 installed. It waited few days for the V5/puddle pods pigtails (thanks Austin S. for the pigtails)…broke couple of puddle pods cover tabs during removal. One of the V5 power connector wires had to be de-pinned and re-soldered. Glad it’s all done. I hope to not mess with the puddle pods cover ever again. I should have done the puddles and V5 the same time…lesson learned. Hope I can get some puddle pods cover replacement from @MESO.

I am finding the Genie isn’t as easy as there are no solder points like on other remote boards. I took my chamberlain security gate remote apart and it was obvious where to solder. The genie not at all obvious. Here is discussion about problems with the genie.
