did you finish the whole thing, how long was it

 

eh 50/50. Did part, reached a sketchy obstacle. turned around and left.

went back in from the other side and reached the same obstacle and then turned back around...

not crazy long, maybe 5km in total ish but it's really easy driving. grandma in a Frontier was mozying on by.



This is the obstacle in question:

about 15th in front of me. that's a straight 45 degree drop with a blind right turn you have to do and then continues 45 degree straight down something like 80m according to the contours. i tried to walk it, was sliding down more than i went up...

same climb from the other side:



there are things i'll do solo. that climb/ downhill is not one of them.

Overall it was a fun little trail, nothing technical (other than the hill) but that's due to how dry it was. lots of dry ruts all over the place and i can see this trail being a lot more difficult with a day or 2 of rain. Basically 2wd the entire way

Does anyone know if sumin would be capable of doing a cab mount relocation for me?

(yes you assholes convinced me to go to absurdly large tires)

if you go to 35's you'll wish you went to 37's
if you go to 37's you'll wish you stayed with 33's lol.

 

If you're talking about cutting off cab mounts off and welding an aftermarket set, then sure.
If you want to custom make a set, better call Naz...

If you have the new mounts he absolutely can, if you don’t - he still can, your wallet is the limit

 

Want 285s, I know I can fit 255s with correct offset.

 

Yes I’m ordering the new mounts. He’s done it before?

 

Also I plan on doing 35s in the further future. Once I’m not dailiying the truck.

You can put 285s on 0 offset with UCA and chinese alignment...

but for 285’s you don’t need a relocation. Unless you are thinking ahead, then carry on

Selling a 32" light bar (had to evict it for a winch). Fits perfectly in the lower grill of a 2nd gen.

TEC price is $50. Works perfectly, adds 15hp and 25 mall crawler street cred points.

 

Jesus. That thing is so well thought out. The control centre, and even all the sewing projects. So impressive. Those custom pelican boxes with the handmade sewn tool holder things. So awesome.

 

This is what I feel like YouTubers think their Tacoma builds are and probably pretty close to the same amount of money spent.
