I have the factory running boards on my 22, I do use them but mainly to step on to get at the front window and roof, they really do keep the crap off the sides of the truck

I like the way you performed the donut-ing leaving skid marks on the pavement as you came to a complete rest in the painted parking space. Amazing.

Please research and understand the performance loss of cheap led bulbs in your halogen housings before broadly recommending them as an "upgrade".

Same issues won't be prevalent in a projector as that thread covers reflectors, you can put complete garbage in there and the cut off will be maintained because of the projector, not because the bulb is any good. However, in a projector LEDs perform terrible, lots of foreground light leading people to think it is better, and loss of distance light... which is kinda the point of a headlight. Lots of info in the 3rd Gen headlight thread, but long story short halogens easily outperform LEDs in a halogen projector.

Ive replaced my windshield 2 times now. They seem to crack easy when hit with a stone or pebble.

Yeah, I should have just quoted the section of the post regarding LEDs in the 3rd gen to be concise. Folks might read the first bit and not the rest.

The final pieces for my Christmas upgrades arrived today.
Once the weather is warm out I will be adding an AuxBeam controller, new honeycomb style grill, BAMF behind the grill light mount, and these two massive Prowlr off-road lights from Backwoods Adventure (they were on sale for half-off so why not.)

Yes, just to clarify this was my experience as well with a stock truck with one tire size up. Pant leg dragging or rubbing getting in and out as I don't and can't use it as a step. Not a deal breaker either. the Pros outweigh the cons for me. I like to keep my truck protected and these offer that. I first saw these mentioned in a Tacoma review on YT (After 6 months of ownership, 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Review) before I purchased my truck. The fellow in the video said they would offer door ding protection but mistakenly refereed to them as Rock Sliders. Door ding protection. That made sense and sold me on them right there along with other benefits. I really like the way they look as well. My 9 year old son uses them to get in all the time tho.

Does anyone have a link to a set of quality HALOGEN bulb replacements, for sale here in the USA? Maybe even on the Amazon? Just trying to see if I can rely on the group knowledge, hope you don't mind me asking. :hattip:

Keeping it simple and OEM, Tailgate Letters, Bed Lights, Power Tailgate Lock, Exhaust Tip, Peragon Bed Cover, Ham Radio Install.
I have seen these mentioned a number of times, and recommended in the Headlight discussion thread, and will probably be what I get when I'm ready.

The Tungsram Platinum H11s are the best H11s available for the 3rd Gen projector. The standard Philips H9 or GE/Tungsram H9 will give you slightly better performance though stock like 3200k color vs the Tungrsrams slightly whiter 3500k color. All the data is in the 3rd Gen headlight thread.

A 5500k blue coating is going to kill output. Coating only remove output, they don't add anything. Blue coatings reduce light output by filtering out yellow light so blue light is the primary light to make it though. The bulk of the halogen output is yellow, meaning you are filtering out the bulk of the light output so the small amount of blue light can be more propionate, thus making the light whiter. The higher the color temp, the darker the filters and the greater the losses. A 4000k coating on a performance bulb is typically is already lower output than stock. A 5500k coating is going to severely negatively impact output. The output will be whiter, but greatly reduced.
