    Finally, after just over two years and a divorce, I’m back in a Tacoma. Been kinda needing to replace the 03 Corolla, so I started looking and came across a decent deal for a certified pre owned 2019 SR Double Cab 4WD. Won’t be long before I end up doing wheel, tires and tint. 16x8 Level 8 Mk6 wheels and 265/70R16 Toyo AT3s.

    Looks great, wish my window tint was that dark! Good luck with the shell, you may want to look into ways to seal the front corners of the bed before you have the shell in place (only if you want it to be water tight). Currently trying to seal my Tonneau cover and I couldn't image doing it with a shell in the way. Congrats on the truck!

    I've tried a few.

    Started simple with some foam I had at the house and some caulk, didn't work. Next I tried butyl tape, better but not sealed enough to my liking (I also think the cold isn't allowing me to press the butyl tape into all of the tight spaces I need it to fit into). Going to try a cap seal that some folks have recommended with some butyl tape and see if that works along with some foam in the gaps at the head of bed.

    I don't expect it to be perfect but it pools in the front corners and I don't want luggage to get soaked as we drive with a fully packed bed. The wife also has a coworker that had a cap installed and it leaks so I know I'm not crazy, I'm not sure what they have tried.
