What is the second reservoir for? Damn thing is in my way.

Does anyone think I can move this further back in the engine bay without having problems?

    Want to do the
Blue Sea aux fuse block install as seen in both of these posts:
    www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/69853-blue-sea-aux-fuse-block-install.html

    My
2011 TRD OR DC V6 Manual is the first picture and friends 2007 Base AC V6 Automatic is the second.

Can I move it back a few inches in the engine bay?

Is it possible to move the clutch fluid reservoir a few inches to make room for a second fuse box?

And is it "very" important how long the clutch fluid line is?
More fluid will be in the line if it is longer and know there is a low and high line on the reservoir.

Since it's connected mechanically, it's a big job to move and inadvisable. Look at your pedal assembly under the dash and you'll see why. You'll have to work around it. As for the line length to the slave at the clutch fork, not an issue, make it as long as you need.

Thank you, will have to come up with a new design.

The Picture of your truck looks like you have a electrical brake booster rather than the engine vac brake booster, this might because you have a TRD truck which has active traction control mine looks like the second pic and I have a tube going into the brake fluid reservoir that also goes to the clutch master cylinder. I have a 4.0l 6speed too but its only an SR5.

My clutch draws from the brake reservoir. They changed the design again? Was it causing problems?

You're far better off redesigning a NEW position for the Aux box.

Looked at it again today and nothing is connected to it but a rubber tube as you can see in this new picture.

I am talking about about the reservoir on the right. I would never think to move the one on the left, well beyond my skill.

So maybe I can move this since you said I can make the line as long as I need?

Good point, that is probably why my reservoir is larger. Yours looks like maxamillon's then. What do you have on the top of your passenger side wheel well?

You are making me think I can move my little reservoir on the right then.

Why couldn't I just design an Aux Box mount that also has a mount for the clutch fluid reservoir? Again just want to move the reservoir on the right, there is really nothing to it other than a reservoir and a rubber line. After seeing maxamillion's picture, his rubber line goes right into the main reservoir, my rubber line just goes to a second reservoir.

I was so deflated after opening my hood and seeing the second reservoir in the way but now with the info I am receiving I think this can be done. Thank you all for your help. A custom Aux Box mount with a clutch fluid reservoir mount would be awesome.

    I stand corrected

This is why you can't move it though, lots of stuff going on

Funny I can not see your original quote. If wippersnapper02 did not reply to you I would not have known you posted anything. Thanks for the reply.

Don't know what you are saying here.

My manual does not show the clutch reservoir. They need to rewrite this manual so I won't have to bother people.
