I've looked inside my cab everywhere and I just dont see a good spot to do it. So where are y'all guys on here mounting them? And also how are y'all running the coax cables to the antenna? Any help is appreciated :)

If you have a full sized one, put it next to the shifter.

    Here's where I put mine:
    CB_e4bd101fb5368a08c5eeecc04260954bd0fe6564.jpg

All you have to do is cut an 'X' in the carpert and run the coax and power cable underneath it.

^ this, the second one gives the best detail for running the cables to the ant.

Interesting topic. I didnt even realize they were still making CB's with all the cell phones and hand held walkie talkies that exist now.

They are great when you're way back in the wood or down in canyons where the usual cell phones can't get service. If you get stuck by yourself and can't get someone to get you off the phone just hit up channel 6, 17, 19, or in worst case channel 9 and odds are you'll get someone to help you. Not to mention how awesome it is to talk to people as far as Australia, never happened to me, when you get skip.

Handheld mounting location and antenna mounting location. If you mount at the taillight like this, you can use an existing bolt (I added 1 additional bolt) and easily run the coax behind the lens and up to your cab, through the gasket under the driver kick-plate/seat area. Clean look with minimal de-facing, should you remove it all down the road...

I like your set up looks clean. Hope you can help me with a few questions. Is that a Cobra 75 WX ST? Also some reviews say it has a 1-2 mile range and some say 17 miles. What do you think? Last is what model antenna is that?
    Thanks

A cb, seriously? I suppose you would mount it right next to the 8 track or that fancy new cassette player. I have NEVER seen one here on the west coast that did not have a rebel flag in the back window...

I guess you don't get to far off road. Some people have 4WD and on a nice day might wander 20 or so miles down a snow trail. With no cell service for miles.
