-The paint. At 13k miles I've never so much as driven down a dirt road, and it has far too many chips. Very noticeable on the magnetic grey. Also every time a bird shits on it the paint becomes permanently etched, no matter how fast I clean it off.

-6 speed clunky clutch engagement; also 1st and 6th are way too low.

    -Chirping blower motor

-Factory stereo kind of sucks, and I hate that there is no mid-range adjustment.

I really had to think to come up with that much. Overall this is a great truck and I can't picture myself driving anything else!

I agree , it is the worst thing about the truck. Have tucked a dark towel up against the base of the windshield. This blocks the horrid reflection of the sun in the recessed portion of the hood near the windshield.

If the new gen Tacoma is like this I will be looking elsewhere.

NO FREAKING mileage/consumption option in the lcd display...i guess it would have cost too much to do it....same with having a light on the 4x4 switch :)

I dislike how after making all the clunks/pops/noises go away...a new one arises. Every time i hit a bump my driver's side wheel area makes a clunk.

The only thing I dont like about my 2012 TACO is the center console does not open back, it opens to the side. So if i go in through the passenger side it is more difficult. That is the only gripe! Love my truck!

Its been out.. Get a base cab.. No power anything..

Only things I hate is the bench seat forced on everyone getting a manual single cab. Buckets should be an option IMO. Also the clutch pedal has waaay too much travel.. ... Other than that its all good..

Not to be a douche but a lot of what people are post up here have mods to fix them and most don't take but 20 minutes, it seems to me, just do a search google.com type in "site: Tacomaworld.com" and what ever mod you want to do or think has been done.
