Not a horrible idea. You would most likely have to sell the hitch reciever as I don't think anyone (besides Road Armor, which is over priced) sells a compatible bumper.

None of them should affect mpgs to an extent that you'll notice.

Almost all of them have a bumper option that can be added. I'd start with a few designs that you like and go from there.

The craftsmanship in the bumper is evident. Looks excellently designed and built. Respect on that.

    However:

My opinion, take it for what it's worth, that left over chunk of plastic on top looks horrible.

Thanks Billy, looks like a clean design and I like what your customers have to say about you. Looks like whomever I go with I will not be using the factory hitch, so that's cool. I have trouble seeing where your receiver is located, or is it an added option?

Thanks for the group by offer. What is your projected turnaround time? Are you waiting for the group buy to end and then fabricate or would you be fabricating on receipt of the deposit? Also, shipping to 70119?

Thanks and I love Kenny @ KR FAB's work. The guy does wonders.

I understand this design doesn't work for everyone and it wasn't build that way. I wanted something different, unique, functional, and just R-A-M-F!

I'm more than Happy with it and Thanks for the kind words. :D

Lead time is around 3-4 weeks, And I think he starts as soon as he receives the deposit. Not 100% on that but that is what I concluded from PMs with him before I placed my order.

Im only answering because I hope he is busy building my bumpers.

Jason Perkins makes a super pair of sliders - I have a set for my DCLB. I do agree with the opinion on the bumpers. The rear is a little 'blocky' and I am waiting to see how/if the front bumper can flow with an ATO skid pate. He does have very nice fab skills and he uses quality materials. Great looking shop as well.

Thanks bud.... Kenny payed a lot of attention to detail... No hard feelings about your comments and ... ; )) we do realize that these bumpers may not appeal to everyone... That's why there is a million companies building all kinds of bumpers for the customers liking which gives a lot of options as well.. That's whats Awsome about this line of work... But that's the thing about Kenny and KR he is able and willing to build you a bad ass bumper and give you a chance to let you help with the design... Again we do appreciate your comments

They look very well built. It's just the look but...

No worries at all. It's just my preference, and everyone has 'em. I know there have to be people out there that don't like the looks of my truck. No way around it.

But I can definitely see the craftsmanship and attention to detail in that bumper. It's obvious why KR and their products are respected. Keep doing what you do

Really liking the look of that bumper

Interesting tho, since AP's old bumper was 1-Piece then the changed to the 3-Piece, maybe they're changing back again :notsure:

That looks pretty good, but the truck needs at least a lift for it to look at home IMO
