OP, the only way to truly answer the "do these mods improve performance?" question is to strap the truck to a dyno before the modifications as a baseline and then strap it to the same dyno afterwards. Different dynos, tension on the retaining straps, humidity, temperature, etc. can all impact the results. It's important to compare apples to apples.

The title of your thread is probably what drew in the vultures. I too jumped in here to see some before and after dyno sheets and was disappointed that it's just another inferred improvement/opinion thread.

An opinion is not an answer. Hard evidence with documented, repeatable results is. You can and will be completely happy with your mods, but you won't be able to state as fact whether or not they improved performance.

I know that I cannot state anything. After this was installed my only intention was to let y'all know if I felt any amount of change as the driver as opposed to before the installation. I cannot offer facts I can however let people know if I am a satisfied buyer or a disappointed buyer. If I like what it does if it does anything at all I will let the people know. I agree that I can't state that it gave me a given amount of hp. I will only say whether or not I am pleased. I apologize for the arguments and fighting I certainly do not approve. We can all be men about it. Critism is appreciated but saying I'm a butt hurt little kid is pretty childish. To everybody who offers cristism and honest opinions thank you, it helps.

Okay okay, one more then I'm out haha

You guys who are saying that people here are giant dbags and don't need to cut people down constantly are absolutely right. The way people "help" each other around here is often way more harsh than need be. And if someone want to make a thread posting about the new parts THEY ordered for THEIR truck with THEIR money so be it. No one needs to be a prick about it.

While I dislike the douchery, the jerks here often have a point. There is quite a bit of reading I've done that would make me lean away from said products in here and look elsewhere. That said they should be kinder in letting you know their opinion or the info they have, but there is still reputable ground they're standing on.

OP I hope you really like you're new parts and look forward to hearing your feedback. All ego aside on everyone's part, the title was a little misleading. I thought Dyno right off. But a simple, kind pointing that out on someone else's part and a simple, kind clarification of what you meant should have been the end of it. Sorry people are uncivilized around here.

Basically both sides play nice ;) or imaginary internet time outs for everyone.

    And, done. :D

Theres a cure for that, fear of being wrong only ensues when you believe the inputs of those around you. For true opinion untouchableness, you must live in complete ignorance to the world..

Or, just create your own world, just ask alice

I don't fear being wrong, an opinion can't be wrong. I am sorry for that but it got hostile in here. If its all in fun that is fine but strapping me to a dyno sounded kinda malicious so I wasn't sure how to react to that statement. disregard that statement from me. I assure you that I am not a douche bag but this is a forum for trucks not calling people butt hurt kids and stuff like that so naturally I don't like being called things that I'm not.

OP I wasn't refering to you FYI, simply the the people that came in bashing.

Having done extensive modification to my own vehical, I believe my ass is accurate to within -/+ 5% horsepower. Hell I drive over 100km's a day, I know my vehicle, and I know when theres changes. I switch cities often too, I can feel every bit of the power losses from 1000ft elevations to over 3000ft.

Thanks buddy, I didn't wanna be making any enemies on here. I have te same problem so I feel the need to pour money into my truck/fishing gear/hunting gear. I never really need the stuff but I've got money burning a hole in my pocket and if it brings me joy that's all I care about. Wasted money or not.
